Odoo Point of Sale Order Transfer Plugin

1.0 Introduction

The Odoo Point of Sale Transfer Plugin is designed to enhance the Point of Sale (POS) system within Odoo by addressing the limitation of transferring orders between different shops or sessions. This plugin is intended Specifically for Odoo POS Users those who actively utilize the Point-of-Sale module in their daily business activities.

The present Odoo version does not include a native capability to transfer orders between various shops or sessions within the Point-of-Sale system. Consequently, in situations where a shop faces technical or other challenges, there is no feature to smoothly transfer orders to another point of sale, ensuring customers experience minimal inconvenience in the order processing. The Odoo Point of Sale Transfer Plugin provides a direct solution as it enables Point of Sale users to transfer orders from one shop or session to another effortlessly. The plugin introduces a Main Branch & Sub-branch division, allowing for better organization and management of different sales points. Such that the POS established as Main branch can transfer data to the subbranch. In the event of technical issues, users can quickly transfer orders to other functioning points of sale, ensuring a smooth customer experience.

1.2 Problem Statement

Currently, in any Version of Odoo, there is no feature to transfer the Order from one Shop/Session/Point of sale to another.

By adding a feature - >Transferring/Forwarding current order to other point of sale.

Main Branch & Sub branch Divison between Point of sales.
Point of sale user can Transfer one Order to other Point of sale.
Automatically updates the number of Transfer counts
User Can Merge the Transfered order with Current order or Make as a NewOrder
User can see the incoming Orders in seperate screen

Use this menu path: Point of sale > Configuration > settings
Create 2 shops/point of sale and mark one as Center branch & other Sub branch using check box.
